An Introduction To Blogging For Nonprofits

I believe that blogs, as a way to share regular updates with your customers/ donors/ users, are a very important marketing channel. This is how organisations communicate these days, stay relevant, break news, share content and provide thought leadership. Sometimes when I land on a web site, I am surprised to discover that it does not have a blog. Sites like this still exist. Not everybody needs a blog obviously (do Amazon have one?). But I believe that cause driven organisations absolutely need one.

Hence, today’s link of the week. Interesting free e-book from HubSpot (gurus of online marketing) on how to start blogging for nonprofits. After you download the book, you can sign up for a free trial of the HubSpot’s blogging tool. I am reading the book at the moment, and will sum up the key points in a later post for those of you who don’t have time to read it.

    I totally agree. A blog is were you can share you message, by giving value and you can interact with people. Nonprofits need to be were people are spending most of their time, online…
